Our state of the art DNAData System provides a friendly user interface rich with user options.  Electronic result notification is available and results can be retrieved online in a pdf format.

Court Ordered and Home Paternity Testing

Generations DNA Testing provides world-wide access to Court Admissible DNA Paternity testing and a host of related relationship testing services. 

When requesting a paternity/relationship test, the customer has two options; Legal or Private Tests.   

Legal tests can be used in a court of law and are often performed when one or both of the parents are seeking custody, child support or social security payments.  A legal test should be performed in any circumstance in which the test participant(s) think they may want to take the results to court or use them in a legal proceeding.

Private tests are performed when an individual simply wants to know the truth about a biological relationship and does not plan to take the results to court.

Paternity tests are the most frequently performed test by our lab.  Results will indicate the probability of paternity.  GenerationsDNA provides the following relationship testing options.

 

  • Paternity Test (trio)
    Includes testing the mother, one child and one alleged father

  • Maternity Test
    Includes Mother and Child only with professional specimen collection for legally admissible results

  • Twin Zygosity
    (determines if identical or fraternal twins)

  • Prenatal DNA Paternity Test
    Includes testing mother, alleged father and the child's sample collected by either amniocentesis or chorionic villus sample.

  • Family Reconstruction
    Testing up to 4 samples (persons) in addition to mother & child; 15 genetic sites tested.

  • Sibling Testing
    PCR Analysis; 15 genetic sites tested

  • Additional Persons
    Includes Additional child OR alleged father (Tested at same time)

  • Extended Testing Analysis
    Additional testing in addition to 15 Genetic sites.  This test is most commonly ordered for Siblingship and Family Reconstruction Testing.

  • Paternity Test (single parent)
    Includes testing one child and one alleged father.

  • Grandparentage Testing
    Includes Mother, child and both paternal Grandparents
