Q: How quickly can I get my test results?
A: Test results typically take 48 hours. For an additional fee, results can be rushed at our lab for next day results. There are some rare instances where a test can take longer than 48 hours.

Q: Are the results accurate?
A: Results between laboratories can vary greatly. That is why it is critical to work with an experienced and knowledgeable lab. Our lab is heavily accredited and offers guaranteed results - the first in the industry to do so.

Q: Why is an accredited lab important?
A: Accreditation and inspection of paternity labs is not mandatory and therefore there is a wide range of quality among DNA labs, which affects the accuracy of tests they provide. Our lab has passed the rigorous inspections of several accrediting agencies by adhering to strict procedures and standards. This means you get the best test for your money.

Q: Are the results guaranteed?

A:Yes! Our lab is the first fully accredited DNA lab to guarantee the accuracy of test results. For all trio and single parent-child tests, the DNA results will either prove that the tested man IS NOT the biological father of the child, or, they will demonstrate greater than 99.9% probability that the tested man IS the biological father of the child.

Q: Can the results be used in court?
A: Yes! The written lab results are provided in the form of a notarized report. This is a legal document that can be presented as evidence as is recognized and accepted in all United States courts.

Q: Who needs to be tested?
A: our test can be performed at any age. testing before birth is also possible. Any mother considering prenatal testing should fully consult with her doctor.

Q: What types of samples are collected?
A: Samples are easily obtained from the inside of the mouth with a cotton tipped swab or by a simple blood draw. Either type of sample will provide the DNA necessary to perform the test to the same level of guaranteed accuracy. in newborns, the smaple can be obtained from the umbilical cord during birth.

Q: What should I bring to my sample collection appointment?
A: In order to identify the person being tested, each person will need to bring the following:

Adult - A picture ID, such as a driver's license, passport or state issued ID.

Child - Birth Certificate (crib card) or social security card (if available)

A photo will be taken of each person at the time of smaple collection to further insure the correct and accurate identification of the individuals b being tested.

Q: how long will my smaple collection appointment take?
A: The sample collection appointment should take approximately 1 hour
